Six steps to every translation

The same careful path for every file, so the quality never depends on luck.

  1. 01

    Understand your requirements

Your account manager learns every need and requirement, then passes them to the right team with the reference material they need.

  2. 02

    Glossary and translation

Once the languages and style are clear, we build a glossary for your project and our translators get to work.

  3. 03

    Proofreading

A proofreader confirms the terminology is accurate and the text reads fluently, free of errors.

  4. 04

    Editing

An editor applies the style and grammar rules that suit your audience.

  5. 05

    Final review

Reviewers check your guidelines and terms are fully applied and the result meets the highest standard.

  6. 06

    Delivery

Once every step is approved, your project manager hands the project over to you.

Three English segments become Arabic: translation memory fills the first instantly, a translator corrects a partial memory match in the second and translates the third from scratch, then a second linguist reviews every row and approves the file.

Checked by people, supported by technology

Every translation is produced in professional translation software that stores your approved terms and earlier translations. The same term is translated the same way in every file, and repeated text can be charged at a reduced rate.

Automated checks then catch what tired eyes can miss: numbers, dates, punctuation, skipped sentences and inconsistent terms.

Finally, a second linguist reads the full translation against the source, as ISO 17100 requires, before your project manager approves the delivery.

Consistency

Your terms, the same every time

Every client account gets its own glossary and translation memory. Once a term is approved, such as a product name, a legal expression or a job title, it is used the same way in every document, by every translator, for as long as you work with us.

The memory also keeps every sentence we have translated for you. When the same or a similar sentence comes back in a new file, it is reused and checked instead of translated from scratch, which keeps the wording consistent and lowers the cost of every update.

  • A shared glossary you can review and approve
  • Repeated sentences reused and checked, not paid for twice
  • Rejected terms flagged automatically in every file

Languages

Translate into 60+ languages

Our worldwide network of more than 1,200 native translators lets us handle almost any language you need. English and Arabic are our home pair, and Arabic comes in every variant your audience speaks.

Language is local, too. We translate for the market, not only the language: Spanish for Spain or Latin America, Portuguese for Portugal or Brazil, French for France or Canada, and Chinese in Simplified or Traditional script.

Need a language that is not listed here? Ask us. We regularly bring in specialist translators for less common pairs.

  • European: French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch
  • Asian: Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Turkish, Russian
  • Arabic: Modern Standard, Egyptian, Gulf, Levantine, North African
  • And more: Greek, Polish, Swedish, Persian, Urdu, Indonesian, Malay, Thai, Vietnamese
Files and formats

Your file comes back in the same format, ready to use

Send us the file you have. We translate directly inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign and web files, so the translation keeps the original layout, fonts and styles, ready to print, publish or upload.

Scanned pages and locked PDFs are rebuilt as editable documents. For Arabic we handle right-to-left layout, Arabic fonts and number formats, so nothing looks broken after translation.

  • Office: DOCX, XLSX, PPTX
  • Print and design: PDF, InDesign (IDML)
  • Web and software: HTML, XML, JSON, XLIFF
  • Video: SRT and VTT subtitle files

Six things that make any translation better

A few minutes of preparation on your side saves days of back-and-forth later. None of these is required, but each one improves the result.

01

Editable files

Send the Word, InDesign or original file instead of a PDF when you can. It comes back in the same format, with nothing retyped and no layout to rebuild.

02

Who will read it

Tell us the audience and the country. A contract for a court in Cairo and a brochure for customers in Riyadh need different choices.

03

Earlier translations

Previous versions, even imperfect ones, show us the terms your team and your customers already know.

04

Your glossary or brand guide

Product names, approved terms and the words you never use. If you do not have one, we build it with you during the first project.

05

Context for short texts

Screenshots, links or a line of explanation for buttons, slogans and tables. A single word such as “Open” can be a verb or an adjective.

06

One contact for questions

Name someone who can answer our translators' questions. A quick answer beats a guess every time.

  • Access limited to your project team

Mistakes that cost money, and how we prevent them

Most translation problems are not spelling mistakes. They are small, silent errors that reach customers, courts or regulators before anyone notices. These are the ones we check for on every project.

The riskHow we prevent it
Literal meaningAn idiom or a legal phrase translated word for wordA native translator from your field, then an independent editor
Numbers and unitsA wrong digit, date format or unit in a price, a dose or a measurementAutomated checks that compare every number with the source
Inconsistent termsThe same product called by three different namesYour glossary and translation memory, applied to every file
Missing textWords left behind in images, footnotes, headers or commentsA completeness check against the original, page by page
Broken layoutArabic text overflowing its boxes or running in the wrong directionA final look at the finished file by a native reader

What shapes the price of a translation

You receive a clear quote before any work starts. These are the four things behind it.

Language pair

Common pairs such as English and Arabic cost less than rare combinations with fewer qualified translators.

Volume and repetition

Most projects are priced per word. Large volumes and repeated text can qualify for reduced rates.

Subject

Legal, medical and technical content needs specialist translators and extra review.

Deadline and files

Standard turnaround gives the best rate; urgent work and complex layouts are shown clearly in your quote.

Questions

Something else? A project manager replies within thirty minutes in office hours.

Which languages do you translate?

More than 60 languages. English and Arabic are our home pair, and we cover the main Arabic variants.

How fast can you deliver?

It depends on length and subject. Your project manager confirms the date with the quote, and larger projects are shared across a team.

Is my document kept confidential?

Yes. Files are shared only with the linguists on your project, and we sign an NDA on request.

Can you keep the original formatting?

Yes. We return translated files in the source format and layout, including PDF and design files.

How do you guarantee quality?

Every text goes through translation, proofreading, editing and a final review by different people, with your glossary applied throughout.

Do you also offer certified translation?

Yes. For official documents we provide stamped, signed certified translations; see our certified translation service.

How much does translation cost?

Most projects are priced per word, based on the language pair, subject, volume and deadline. Send us your file and you will receive an exact quote, usually within 30 minutes in office hours.

How many words can you translate per day?

One professional translator usually handles about 2,000 to 2,500 words a day at full quality. Larger or urgent projects are split across a team working from one glossary, so the result stays consistent.

Can you use our glossary or earlier translations?

Yes. Send us your glossary, style guide or previous translations and we build them into your project. If you do not have them, we create them as we work, and they remain yours.

Which Arabic do you translate into?

Modern Standard Arabic by default, which every Arabic reader understands. For marketing, apps and video we can also write in Egyptian, Gulf, Levantine or North African Arabic.

Do you take urgent and weekend work?

Yes. Tell us your deadline when you ask for a quote; urgent and out-of-hours work is planned with you in advance, so the date is confirmed before we start.

Can machine translation lower the cost?

For suitable content, yes. Our AI translation service (MTPE) pairs a machine draft with full human post-editing, usually at a lower price and a faster turnaround.

What should I send for a quote?

The file or files, the target language, your deadline and, if you have them, a glossary or reference material. If the text is meant for a particular country or audience, tell us that too.
