    The story of founding Cube Localization

    After spending years in the translation sector, Mahmoud Taher (our founder and CEO) came to the realization that translating complex documents was nearly an insurmountable task for the average individual. The conventional translation services available were overly complex, time-consuming, and costly to handle.

    This realization sparked the idea of bringing translation services directly to individuals, and it seemed like the perfect time to bring this vision to life. Thus, Cube was established as an Egyptian company, initially launching as an online platform to offer services aimed at the global market, catering to both Arabic and international clients.

    The name "Cube" was chosen for our company because we aimed to provide six primary services to our customers: translation, localization, content writing, subtitle creation, voice-over services, and software testing. This choice of name and logo was inspired by the cube, which has six faces, mirroring the variety of services we offer.

    By 2017, we began to expand our team in response to the growing demand for our services. It was during this time that we observed a significant demand for our services from companies and business owners, leading us to officially rebrand as "Cube Localization" and to shift our focus to providing translation services to businesses.

    The need for localization emerged with the recent technological advances in the world, especially in the fields of Games and Software Localization.

    That's how our localization department started! Our experts in localizing games collaborate closely with game creators to make sure the game's narrative is faithfully modified to fit the preferences of the intended audience, incorporating cultural allusions and wit. 

    We didn't halt our efforts, instead, we embarked on acquiring new skills and expanding our localization department by introducing services like image localization and software testing, ultimately achieving a comprehensive localization solution.
