Certified translation, accepted where it matters
Signed, stamped translations of your official documents, prepared for embassies, courts, universities and immigration offices in more than 60 languages, and delivered by email or by post.
What is a certified translation?
A certified translation has been verified and approved by a qualified translator who confirms it is accurate and complete. The certificate is proof that the translation faithfully represents the source document.
It is usually required for legal, academic and government procedures: immigration, university admission, business deals and court cases. The translator signs a declaration of their competence, the accuracy of the translation and the completeness of the document.
Some authorities also ask for notarization or a sworn affidavit. Tell us where you will submit your document and we will prepare exactly what that authority requires.

Certified, notarized or apostilled

Certified
A qualified translator signs a declaration that the translation is complete and accurate, with our stamp, registration number and contact details.
- Signed translator's declaration
- Company stamp and registration number
- Enough for most universities and employers
Notarized
After certification, a Notary Public adds their seal and signature to confirm the translator's identity and declaration. The notary does not re-check the translation itself.
- Everything in Certified
- Notary seal and signature
- Often required by courts and embassies
Legalized (Apostille)
A government department legalizes the notarized translation with an Apostille, so it is recognized in the other countries of the Hague Convention.
- Everything in Notarized
- Apostille from the relevant authority
- For official use in another country

When certification really matters
Legal and medical papers, passports and birth certificates for travel, contracts for a business deal: in these documents a single mistake can cause serious problems later.
Not every translation needs a certificate, but official, legal and confidential documents always deserve one. It is the safest way to avoid rejected applications and costly delays.
An official document is only as good as its translation. Certification removes the doubt.
Arabic documents, translated with their conventions intact
Documents issued in Egypt, the Gulf and the rest of the Arab world follow conventions that a general translator can easily get wrong: long names with several parts, dates in the Hijri calendar, Arabic-Indic digits, and place names with more than one Latin spelling.
We spell names exactly as they appear in your passport, convert every digit with a second check, keep Hijri dates and add the Gregorian date when the receiving authority needs it, and use one spelling for every place from the first page to the last.
- Names matched to your passport
- Arabic-Indic digits converted and checked twice
- Hijri dates kept, with Gregorian dates when required
How certified translation works
Clear steps, from a scanned page to a document you can submit.
- 01
Send a scan or a photo
A clear scan or phone photo of every page is enough to start. Tell us which office will receive it.
- 02
Quote and confirmation
You receive the price, the delivery date and the certification level the office requires.
- 03
Translation by a qualified translator
Names, dates, stamps and numbers are reproduced exactly, following the layout of the original.
- 04
Review and certification
A second linguist checks the translation, then the translator signs the declaration and we add our stamp.
- 05
Notarization or apostille, if needed
We arrange the notary seal and the apostille when the receiving office asks for them.
- 06
Delivery
A certified PDF by email, and wet-signed hard copies by courier when originals are required.
Before you order: a short checklist
Most delays in certified translation come from missing details, not from the translation itself. Checking these six points first gets your documents out faster.
Every page, both sides
Scan or photograph every page in good light, including the back. Stamps and notes on the reverse are translated too.
The receiving authority
Tell us who will receive the translation: an embassy, a university, a court or an employer. Each can have its own rules.
Names as in the passport
Send a copy of the passport page, or type the names exactly as they appear in it, so every document matches.
Notarization or apostille
Ask the receiving authority whether it needs a notarized or apostilled translation. It changes the timeline.
Copies and format
Tell us whether you need a signed PDF, printed copies or both, and how many.
Your deadline
Share the date of your appointment or submission, and we plan the translation and delivery around it.
Prepared for the office that will receive it
Our translators specialize in official papers for government bodies and official organizations. We work quickly, around the clock and at competitive prices, and every translation is prepared to the requirements of the office receiving it, from USCIS to embassies and ministries.
Layout matters too. The translation mirrors the original page, and stamps, signatures and handwritten notes are described in brackets, so an official can match every element.

Every option includes a certification statement and signature that meet government requirements; notarized options also carry the notary's stamp and signature.

Questions
Something else? A project manager replies within thirty minutes in office hours.
What makes a translation certified?
A signed statement that the translation is complete and accurate, with our stamp and the translator's details.
Will my embassy accept it?
Requirements differ by authority. Tell us where you will submit it and we will prepare it to their rules.
Do you need the original document?
No. A clear scan or photo is enough for most authorities.
How long does it take?
Most personal documents are quick. We confirm the exact date with your quote.
Can you arrange notarization?
Where an authority asks for notarization or a sworn affidavit, tell us when you order and we will prepare the certification that authority requires.
Do your translations meet USCIS requirements?
Yes. USCIS asks for a complete translation with the translator's signed statement of competence and accuracy, which is exactly what we provide.
What is the difference between certified and notarized translation?
A certified translation carries the translator's signed declaration and our stamp. A notarized translation adds a Notary Public's seal, which confirms the translator's identity and signature, not the translation itself.
What is an apostille, and do I need one?
An apostille is a government certificate that makes a document valid in the other countries of the Hague Convention. You usually need one when a document from one country will be used officially in another; the receiving office will tell you.
Can I receive my certified translation by email?
Yes. Certified and notarized translations can be sent as a stamped PDF. If the office needs originals, we also post wet-signed copies by DHL.
How long does delivery by post take?
Usually 3 to 5 days within the UK and Egypt, and 5 to 7 days for international shipping, once the translation is ready.
Do you translate handwritten documents?
Yes, as long as the text is legible. Anything that cannot be read is marked as illegible in the translation rather than guessed.
Is my personal document kept private?
Yes. Your documents are handled under our privacy policy, shared only with the translator working on them, and can be deleted after delivery on request.
